Description

  • Own customer engagements end-to-end, including prospecting, qualification, trial, and close.
  • Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and follow up on leads from the account development team.
  • Target and win business with Eastern Canada’s largest operational customers.
  • Leverage Business Value, Customer Success Management, and Leadership teams to close large, complex opportunities.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally and across new offices.
  • Build and maintain genuine customer relationships with operational buyers and stakeholders.
  • Research companies and contacts to expand the pipeline and uncover new opportunities.
  • Work to close high-value transactions and complex deals in a competitive sales environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior SaaS sales role.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement.
  • Experience handling and owning large, complex deals.
  • Comfort working in a rapidly changing, high-growth tech environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High comfort closing transactions of up to $1M+ ACV.
  • Experience building out a new territory and acquiring new high-value target accounts.
  • Thirst for learning and ability to quickly understand unfamiliar businesses (preferred).
  • Ability to relate to clients at all levels of an organization (preferred).
  • Ability to quarterback a large geographically dispersed team (preferred).
