Description

  • Drive achievement of business segment bookings, revenue, and margin targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and business plans aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Lead, manage, and grow a team of sales professionals.
  • Build and maintain key customer relationships with target accounts and senior decision-makers.
  • Sell to senior leaders and C-level executives at national and regional health plans.
  • Support and broker complex contract negotiations for large payer accounts.
  • Manage RFI and RFP responses from start to finish.
  • Review and manage contracts including MSAs, SOWs, and SLAs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams supporting customer-facing activities in the region.
  • Support key meetings, executive presentations, and industry trade events such as AHIP, RISE, Risk Adjustment Summits, and Blues Summit.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of senior-level sales experience in health plans.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading and scaling high-performing sales teams with direct revenue accountability.
  • Proven success building strategic relationships and closing complex deals in the health plan/payer market.
  • Demonstrated success driving sales strategy and revenue growth within value-based care.
  • Deep expertise in quality, risk adjustment, and related care delivery funding models.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience selling within complex environments required.
  • Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of personal organization, time management, and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Ability to travel 50–75%.
