Description

  • Build fully automated UI, API, and performance test cases and oversee their execution and results.
  • Automate checks across multiple platforms, operating systems, and browsers to identify regressions.
  • Report incidents found during automation test execution and follow up on updates.
  • Implement and integrate reporting tools to gather meaningful project health metrics.
  • Work closely with Manual QA teams to identify automation opportunities and smoke test plans.
  • Support development and Manual QA teams with troubleshooting and root cause analysis through log analysis, queries, and debugging.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including daily meetings, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
  • Participate in user story estimation and the code review process.
  • Triage and communicate the status of client-reported issues while identifying and triaging issues independently.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a QA automation engineer or in a QA role for web projects.
  • Experience or knowledge working with the Selenium framework and JavaScript.
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems, preferably Optimizely or AEM.
  • Knowledge of HTML structure, CSS, and XPath selectors.
  • Experience and knowledge testing REST APIs, including HTTP status codes and verbs, authentication methods, and JSON format.
  • Experience using web services testing tools such as Postman.
  • Experience or knowledge working with agile methodologies.
  • Source code versioning experience using Git.
  • Experience using project management tools, preferably JIRA and Confluence.
  • Fluent level of English.
  • Experience working or coordinating with USA teams (nice to have).
  • Experience writing API and integration tests using mocking frameworks (nice to have).
  • Experience testing mobile applications using emulators and cloud testing tools such as BrowserStack or CrossBrowserTesting (nice to have).
  • Experience using cloud-based testing tools for automation (nice to have).
  • Experience with test management software such as Testiny (nice to have).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience (nice to have).
