Description

  • Build and maintain automation coverage for product features and releases.
  • Lead the implementation of a test automation strategy across unit, service, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Develop and maintain test tools, automation frameworks, and testing environments.
  • Write and test product code in partnership with product engineering teams.
  • Participate in design reviews to help architect testable systems and improve modularity and testability.
  • Improve existing automation frameworks to support new functionality and increase quality and efficiency.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with the CI/CD team.
  • Troubleshoot test failures, isolate issues, and verify bug fixes before and after release.
  • Collaborate with product management, development, and other quality engineering teams in a fast-paced release environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience in software testing and automation.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of at least one programming language, such as TypeScript or JavaScript, plus strong scripting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Strong hands-on experience with web automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Buildkite, Spinnaker, or Jenkins.
  • Experience using Git and version control workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to solve ambiguous problems and drive integrations across multiple teams with significant impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
