Description

  • Manage a portfolio of existing SMB life sciences customers to grow revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and renewals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Quality, Operations, IT, and R&D teams.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to understand customer priorities, compliance needs, product timelines, and operational goals.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new SMB logo opportunities in biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device segments.
  • Own the full sales cycle for smaller deals from discovery through contract close.
  • Partner with Marketing and BDR teams to engage inbound and outbound leads.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within target accounts.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations based on customer use cases and needs.
  • Prepare proposals and business cases aligned to regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Provide pipeline, forecast, and account updates during reviews and maintain accurate CRM records.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent business experience, ideally in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
  • 1-3+ years selling SaaS solutions, or 3+ years in Business/Sales Development using value selling methodologies, into SMB accounts.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes and pipeline management.
  • Interest in or exposure to life sciences, healthcare, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with GxP, validation, or regulatory environments is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to grow in a SaaS sales career.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, expected at 40% - 60%.
  • Experience with life sciences regulations such as FDA and EMA is preferred.

Benefits

  • $120,000 - $125,000 annual total compensation.
  • Base salary plus commission with variable incentive compensation.
  • Additional benefits or incentives may be available depending on role and location.
  • Remote full-time work arrangement.
