Description

  • Respond quickly and enthusiastically to inbound inquiries about ValGenesis products and solutions by phone.
  • Qualify prospects by answering questions, assessing interest, and evaluating their ability to move forward in a sales engagement.
  • Proactively contact marketing leads through phone outreach based on self-qualified activity.
  • Engage high-interest prospects on LinkedIn and other channels, including selective cold calling.
  • Nurture leads over time and develop a deep understanding of prospect priorities and readiness.
  • Schedule pre-demo meetings with the appropriate regional sales representative once a lead is qualified.
  • Update marketing and sales systems with accurate notes from calls and outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams by sharing candid feedback on lead quality, channel performance, and process effectiveness.
  • Contribute to regular reporting and participate in ongoing product and solution training.
  • Represent ValGenesis at virtual or in-person events and conferences when needed.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a call center or another phone-heavy role speaking with customers, prospects, or partners.
  • Previous experience working in the life sciences industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for speaking with people and helping them identify solutions that improve their work.
  • Comfort with a base-plus-commission compensation structure and motivation to hit targets.
  • Proactive, self-starting work style with strong organization, process-following, and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel 5–15% of the time for conferences and exhibit/booth support.
  • Experience with digital validation or GxP-related environments is preferred.
  • Prior experience in sales development, lead qualification, or similar prospect-facing roles is a plus.
