Description

  • Respond quickly and enthusiastically to inbound inquiries by phone about ValGenesis products and solutions.
  • Qualify prospects by assessing their interest and readiness to move forward with a sales engagement.
  • Reach out to marketing-qualified leads by phone and through other channels to drive early-stage conversations.
  • Engage high-interest prospects on LinkedIn and other channels, including cold-calling targeted lists of individuals.
  • Nurture leads over time and develop well-qualified, sales-ready opportunities.
  • Schedule pre-demo meetings with the appropriate regional sales representative once a lead is qualified.
  • Update marketing and sales systems with accurate notes from calls and outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to share feedback on lead quality, channel effectiveness, and process improvements.
  • Contribute to regular reporting and participate in ongoing product and solutions training.
  • Represent ValGenesis at virtual or in-person events and conferences when needed.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a call center or similar role with most work spent speaking with customers, prospects, or partners by phone.
  • Previous experience working in the life sciences industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort with a base-plus-commission compensation structure and a desire to meet targets.
  • Proactive, self-starting work style with strong organization and time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow process consistently.
  • Ability to travel 5–15% of the time for conferences and booth support.
  • Experience helping people identify solutions that improve or streamline their daily work (preferred).
  • Ability to work on a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week near the Toronto office.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $70,000–$80,000 per year.
  • Eligibility for additional incentive or bonus compensation, where applicable.
