Description

  • Develop and productionize machine learning models, statistical analyses, and predictive analytics using Python and Databricks.
  • Build and maintain scalable workflows with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and cloud data technologies.
  • Apply MDM processes to create consistent, accurate master data across multiple source systems.
  • Resolve data quality, duplication, matching, and entity-resolution issues across healthcare datasets.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate healthcare problems into data science solutions.
  • Develop data profiling, validation, and quality-monitoring processes for analytical datasets.
  • Perform exploratory analysis to identify trends and insights supporting healthcare outcomes and member engagement.
  • Contribute to feature engineering, experimentation, model evaluation, and production deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy, security, governance, and HIPAA requirements where applicable.
  • Document models, datasets, assumptions, methodologies, and data lineage.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, advanced analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark.
  • Advanced Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience developing and deploying machine learning or predictive models.
  • Strong knowledge of MDM, including matching, deduplication, entity resolution, golden records, standardization, data quality, and reference data.
  • Experience working with large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets.
  • Experience with Delta Lake or Lakehouse architecture.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
  • Healthcare, payer, provider, patient, or other regulated-data experience preferred; HIPAA experience highly desirable.
  • Experience with MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, IBM MDM, or similar technologies preferred.
  • Experience with Azure or AWS, MLflow, visualization tools, production-grade pipelines, FHIR, HL7, or claims data preferred.
