Description

  • Assist with developing, testing, and productionizing AI/ML models, including LLMs, agentic systems, document AI, forecasting, and optimization solutions.
  • Support end-to-end LLM and agent pipelines, including retrieval, extraction, grounding, evaluation, and cost and latency profiling.
  • Write robust, modular, testable code for cloud-native production platforms and collaborate with Engineering on integration, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Maintain documentation and inventories of AI/ML projects in accordance with governance and quality standards.
  • Translate business and stakeholder requirements into technical tasks with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Measure and report model accuracy, subject-matter-expert agreement, latency, cost, and business KPI performance before and after launch.
  • Research emerging AI technologies and share relevant practices with the team.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, business leadership, and client stakeholders on AI/ML initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a master’s program in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Coursework or project experience in AI/ML, including machine learning, deep learning, forecasting, reinforcement learning, optimization, or conversational AI.
  • Familiarity with Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas, or NumPy.
  • Software engineering fundamentals, including version control, code review, modular design, and testable production code.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to design machine learning experiments and define performance metrics aligned with business goals.
  • Hands-on experience deploying models or AI applications, including containerization, CI/CD, monitoring, or API serving (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud AI/data platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
  • Experience with LLM patterns, MLOps and evaluation tooling, or responsible AI governance practices (preferred).

Benefits

  • Expected compensation of approximately £36.94 per hour.
  • Role based in the United Kingdom, with the London area preferred.
