Description

  • Execute a proactive local sales strategy across the assigned New York territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with CPA firms, corporations, universities, and other industry partners to generate revenue.
  • Present UWorld Accounting & Finance Review products, exam updates, and related offerings to external clients and prospects.
  • Schedule and deliver account-specific presentations, demonstrations, lunch-and-learns, webcasts, and events.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, then pursue them through closing and renewal.
  • Develop individualized sales and marketing strategies for firms, corporations, and universities in the territory.
  • Manage relationships with firm and corporation stakeholders including COOs, managing directors, HR leaders, learning directors, administrators, and recruiters.
  • Partner with university contacts through on-campus events, presentations, and faculty relationship development.
  • Represent UWorld at sales and marketing events such as Meet the Firms, conferences, and meetings.
  • Support existing customers while expanding market presence and driving regional sales growth.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience with a proven record of success and high professionalism.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CPA is a plus.
  • Degree preference in accounting, business, sales, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding goals, objectives, and sales quotas in technology or educational technology.
  • Experience working in new verticals is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, MS Office, Google tools, and Chrome.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Up to 50% travel required, including overnight travel within an interstate territory.
  • Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment with a strong operational, results-driven mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, oral communication, presentation, and technology skills.
