Description

  • Own lifecycle strategy and execution across the full customer journey, including cross-sell, activation, retention, re-engagement, and churn winback.
  • Drive growth for Cash Line through mobile-first lifecycle programs using push notifications, in-app messaging, email, and SMS.
  • Design and optimize multi-channel customer journeys to improve conversion, engagement, retention, and revenue.
  • Define campaign requirements such as audience segmentation, trigger logic, and channel orchestration in partnership with Product and Engineering.
  • Build and run a hypothesis-driven experimentation roadmap across lifecycle stages and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Analyze campaign and lifecycle performance and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting with recommendations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Engineering, and Creative to improve the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards to measure lifecycle performance and guide prioritization.
  • Support lifecycle strategy and execution for additional emerging products as they launch and scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention marketing roles.
  • Hands-on experience building and executing lifecycle campaigns using a marketing automation platform such as Iterable, Braze, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience designing and analyzing A/B or multivariate tests, including defining success metrics and interpreting results.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets and familiarity with BI tools such as Looker.
  • Experience managing lifecycle marketing across multiple stages of the customer journey, such as acquisition, activation, retention, and winback (preferred).
  • Experience designing lifecycle strategies for mobile app experiences, including push notifications and in-app messaging (preferred).
  • Knowledge of customer data platforms and event-driven marketing systems; Upstart uses Hightouch (preferred).
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights that inform marketing strategy (preferred).
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Creative teams on campaign execution (preferred).
  • Ability to work on East/West coast time zones.
  • This is a contractor role and is not eligible for Upstart employee compensation, equity, bonus, or benefits offerings.

  • Hourly pay range of $66 to $90 USD, paid bi-weekly, with overtime eligibility where required by law.
