Description

  • Generate new sales opportunities across EMEA using outbound tactics (email sequences, LinkedIn, cold calling, etc.).
  • Identify, target, and nurture potential outbound opportunities through consistent outreach and follow-up.
  • Qualify leads and create clear, actionable handovers to sales reps by understanding prospect needs and priorities.
  • Articulate UpGuard’s value proposition and product offerings and position them against each prospect’s specific problems or needs.
  • Record accurate and detailed prospect information and activity in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to surface prospect insights and drive process and product improvements.
  • Maintain a high level of outbound activity and continuously iterate on messaging and targeting to improve conversion rates.

Requirements

  • 6–12 months experience in B2B tech sales as an SDR/BDR.
  • Experience with cold calling and outbound sales.
  • High level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback and collaborate with sales and marketing to drive improvements.
  • High energy, strong motivation, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work fully remote and have a remote setup (UpGuard will assist if needed).
  • 1+ year B2B SaaS experience (preferred).
  • Domain experience in cybersecurity or supply chain information risk (preferred).
  • Experience with HubSpot, Outreach.io, or other CRM / sales engagement platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with prospecting tools such as Lusha, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (preferred).
  • Successful candidates must complete a national police history check and reference checks prior to starting, and UpGuard cannot support candidates requiring visa sponsorship or relocation; for US-based applicants, hiring is currently limited to CA, MD, MA, IL, OR, WA, CO, TX, FL, PA, LA, MO, or DC.
