Description

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Unity Engine authoring features.
  • Use customer feedback, market research, user feedback, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Design, Documentation, and Program Management to define goals, requirements, and delivery plans.
  • Lead feature delivery across multiple teams by removing blockers and aligning priorities.
  • Prioritize product features and improvements based on data and user feedback.
  • Work with other product team members to improve cross-product integration and reduce redundant feature code.
  • Facilitate customer feedback loops to iteratively improve the product and increase customer value.
  • Use hands-on testing and demos to validate requirements, verify deliveries, and showcase features to customers and partners.

Requirements

  • Extensive prior experience in a hands-on game development role.
  • Experience shipping games as a developer, ideally in Unity, Unreal, or proprietary game engines.
  • Deep technical expertise with the ability to evaluate complex technology stacks across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Exceptional communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to engineers and senior executives.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong skills in roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills to bring teams together around shared goals and priorities.
  • Technical understanding of game engine architecture, feature development, and the developer experience (preferred).
  • Experience with high-performance programming languages such as C# or C++ (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% at peak times (preferred).
  • Strong English proficiency for frequent professional verbal and written communication.
  • No relocation support is available for this position.
