Description

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for authoring features in the Unity Engine.
  • Incorporate customer feedback, market research, user feedback, competitive analysis, and internal production insights into product direction.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to drive feature delivery, remove blockers, and align priorities across teams.
  • Work with stakeholders across Engineering, Quality, Design, Documentation, and Program Management to identify business goals, user needs, and technical requirements.
  • Prioritize product features and improvements using data and feedback from external partners and the broader development community.
  • Collaborate with other product teams to improve cross-product integration and reduce redundant feature code.
  • Facilitate customer feedback loops and iteratively improve the product based on customer value.
  • Use hands-on testing and demos to validate requirements, verify deliveries, and showcase features to customers, users, and partners.

Requirements

  • Experience shipping games as a developer, ideally in Unity, Unreal, or proprietary game engines.
  • Deep technical expertise with the ability to evaluate complex technology stacks across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to engineers and senior executives.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong skills in roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills to bring teams together around shared goals and priorities.
  • Technical understanding of game engine architecture, feature development, and the developer experience (preferred).
  • Experience with high-performance programming in C# or C++ (preferred).
  • Storytelling and visual presentation skills to communicate sophisticated topics clearly (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% at peak times (preferred).
  • Strong English communication skills for frequent global written and verbal collaboration.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
