Description

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Unity Engine core technology.
  • Incorporate customer feedback, market research, user feedback, and competitive analysis into product planning.
  • Partner with engineering, quality, design, documentation, and program management to define goals, user needs, and technical requirements.
  • Lead feature delivery across multiple teams by removing blockers and aligning priorities.
  • Prioritize product features and improvements based on data and feedback from partners and the development community.
  • Collaborate with other product team members to improve cross-product integration and reduce redundant feature code.
  • Facilitate customer feedback loops to iteratively improve the product and increase customer value.
  • Conduct hands-on testing and demos to verify deliveries and showcase features to customers, users, and partners.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Unity, C#, Entities, Burst, and data-oriented design, or similar systems in another engine.
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture, memory, and cache behavior.
  • Prior experience in video game development using Unity, Unreal, or proprietary game engines.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and senior executives.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong skills in roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions to drive common goals and priorities.
  • Experience in systems programming, with expertise in C++, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SIMD programming is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% at peak times.
  • Must have sufficient English proficiency for frequent professional verbal and written communication with global colleagues and partners.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
