Description

  • Manage and expand key retail customer accounts.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to deliver strong revenue, gross margin, and gross profit results.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across a regulated vertical account portfolio.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional account team with product, finance, support, and services partners.
  • Run disciplined forecasts and present guidance to executive leadership.
  • Lead highly consultative sales cycles with large customers through deep discovery and customer advocacy.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
  • Build and maintain deep partnerships across internal functions to support customer growth.

Requirements

  • 7 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in major account or strategic sales.
  • Experience managing or leading quantitative, highly analytical products and solutions for customers.
  • Experience with relationship management, cross-sells, upsells, and solutions consulting.
  • Ability to work with business and highly technical leaders while influencing decisions and building partnerships.
  • Analytical account development approach using data to identify opportunities and prove value.
  • Demonstrated track record managing business forecasts and financial models.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to define processes and build programs.
  • History of delivering revenue and gross profit results for large-scale and enterprise customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Preferred experience working with telecom companies, including CPaaS, SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms.
  • Preferred domain expertise in highly quantitative industries such as DevOps, fintech, advertising optimization, investment banking, security, or commodity trading.
  • Preferred software, SaaS, CPaaS, or PaaS selling experience.
  • Remote role not eligible for hire in CT, NJ, NY, WA, PA, or surrounding areas of San Francisco, Oakland, or San Jose.
  • Approximately 30% travel required.
