Description

  • Develop and maintain software for Twilio’s communications platform.
  • Design and build backend services and APIs with a collaborative engineering team.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold high standards of code quality.
  • Support production operations, including building, releasing, and participating in team on-call rotations.
  • Write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Occasionally travel for project, customer, or team meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Go or Java.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar cloud, containerization, and orchestration tools (preferred).
  • Ability to work across multiple programming languages and frameworks (preferred).
  • Experience with Temporal (preferred).
  • Remote work eligibility, excluding San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and surrounding areas.
