Description

  • Partner with the VP Sales and GTM team to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy.
  • Source new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and referral generation.
  • Manage inbound opportunities through the full sales cycle.
  • Lead prospecting, discovery, sales meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, quotes, negotiations, and order processing.
  • Manage customer relationships through account management and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Define and refine messaging to improve outbound prospecting performance.
  • Track customer data and manage sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, and Engineering during the sales process.
  • Bring market knowledge of the OSS/BSS space and competitive landscape to sales conversations.
  • Help build the sales organization and mentor teammates.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience with complex, multistakeholder, multimillion-dollar outbound deals and full-cycle closing.
  • Proven record of consistently meeting and exceeding quota in a fast-paced sales environment, including top-10% performance.
  • Advanced knowledge of sales coaching, best practices, and sales methodology.
  • Experience working with SaaS.
  • Experience selling for a software provider in the telecom industry to technical decision-makers, including CTOs and CIOs of Tier-1 CSPs.
  • Experience using Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal.
  • Technical background is preferred.
  • Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills across in-person, virtual, and written channels.
  • Highly organized, self-starting, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small remote team.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an ownership mentality and a problem-solving approach.

  • Expected On Target Earnings of $250,900 - $278,800 USD for US residents or $229,700 - $255,200 CAD for Canadian residents.
  • Commission set at 50% of total On Target Earnings.
