Description

  • Lead the annual budgeting and planning cycle across business unit finance teams.
  • Maintain and improve quarterly forecasting and continuous planning processes.
  • Develop long-term financial forecasts and models to support strategic decisions.
  • Drive modernization of financial systems and reporting infrastructure to improve efficiency, automation, and AI-driven analytics.
  • Oversee administration, optimization, and integration of ERP, BI, and planning systems.
  • Partner with IT and finance teams to implement AI-driven automation and machine learning for forecasting and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain management reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards and support Board and Audit Committee presentations.
  • Provide strategic finance partnership to corporate leadership on financial strategy and operational efficiency.
  • Lead monthly variance analysis and provide decision-support analysis for business initiatives, procurement decisions, and regulatory filings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and financial systems transformation.
  • 2+ years of management experience overseeing FP&A processes and teams.
  • Experience in technology, SaaS, telecommunications, or other high-growth industries.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial automation tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered financial automation and finance system implementations.
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, API integrations, and cloud-based financial platforms.
  • Proven ability to automate processes, integrate AI-driven tools, and optimize financial reporting structures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership.
  • Remote position for applicants in Canada, with some travel to Toronto required.
