Description

  • Define and execute channel strategy to drive Trustly’s growth.
  • Develop and manage a multi-channel, multi-vertical partner approach across acquirer, referral, distributor/reseller, and related technology and service partners.
  • Launch, scale, and strengthen channel partnerships in collaboration with Sales, Legal, Marketing, Risk, and Product teams.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing channel partners.
  • Coordinate go-to-market plans, including partner communications, joint marketing, sales training, sales incentives, lead qualification, and referral processes.
  • Build partner engagement and enthusiasm to encourage promotion, prioritization, and sales of Trustly’s solutions.
  • Work with Trustly Sales teams to align partner relationships and establish direct connections between sales organizations.
  • Assist in negotiating and closing channel deals as part of the sales team.
  • Use Salesforce to forecast, track, develop, and report on partner activity, renewals, and pipeline performance.
  • Achieve annual quota through quarterly progress and participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in channel partnerships, sales, business development, or strategic partner management within a financial technology company.
  • Domain expertise in payments or direct experience in the payments industry is required.
  • Documented success implementing channel strategy within payments or related markets.
  • Proven revenue-generation track record in both direct and channel sales roles.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams and the ability to identify partner-product opportunities.
  • Strong closing, negotiation, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Strong Salesforce.com skills and the ability to forecast channel revenue accurately.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across partner and prospect organizations.
