Description

  • Define and champion quality engineering best practices, standards, and processes across the team and broader engineering organization.
  • Evaluate and recommend testing tools, technologies, and methodologies, including agentic AI-powered solutions.
  • Drive quality strategy and execution for major product areas and projects.
  • Design, develop, and implement a scalable, maintainable test automation framework.
  • Improve quality engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and provide input on testability and quality considerations.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to embed quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead code reviews and provide feedback on test automation code.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Perform exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing, and work with developers to identify and resolve defects.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and share quality metrics with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other quality engineering team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a strong emphasis on test automation.
  • Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, REST Assured, Pytest, or JUnit/TestNG.
  • Strong programming or scripting skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with API testing and automation tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience leveraging GenAI tooling to generate tests and improve test coverage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or LoadRunner is preferred.
  • Experience with security testing concepts and tools is preferred.
  • Experience testing cloud-based applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Experience with databases and SQL is preferred.

  • $52,000 - $60,000 annual base salary range.
