Description

  • Build and maintain backend services, integrations, and features for Triptease’s core marketing channels and Campaign Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with teammates through pair programming, standups, planning, and retrospectives.
  • Design scalable, high-availability systems that balance automation, customer control, modularity, and data consistency.
  • Contribute to accessible user experiences and admin tools where needed across the stack.
  • Work in a small squad that owns strategy end-to-end and helps decide what to build and why.
  • Ship small, incremental changes to production using trunk-based development and continuous delivery.
  • Explore and apply AI and automation opportunities to make the platform smarter and more impactful.
  • Participate in product thinking and customer conversations to validate assumptions and shape features.
  • Help improve team practices through refactoring, feedback, and continuous learning.
  • Support data-driven development through analytics, testing, and monitoring of product performance.

Requirements

  • Strong backend experience in TypeScript, with additional full-stack experience including frontend work for admin UIs.
  • Comfortable with pair programming for most of the day and using test-driven development (TDD).
  • Practical experience building deployment pipelines and continuous delivery on cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and BigQuery.
  • Experience designing and building distributed, high-availability, high-throughput systems.
  • Solid understanding of HTTP and how the internet works.
  • Ability to write clear, concise code and improve code quality through refactoring.
  • Customer-centric mindset and experience collaborating closely with product managers and cross-functional teammates.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, autonomy, psychological safety, and craft development.
  • Experience with online advertising or ad tech products is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with the Google Ads API is a bonus.
  • gRPC experience, especially in the context of a TypeScript Google Ads API library, is a bonus.
  • Experience in cross-functional XP and Kanban teams is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with multiple programming languages is a bonus.
