Description

  • Oversee the technical implementation and delivery of supplier and reservation system integrations.
  • Liaise with systems providers and suppliers to collect API specifications and recommend integration approaches.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, R&D, customer service, and supply stakeholders on connectivity projects.
  • Communicate Viator API specifications to internal and external stakeholders and respond to technical questions.
  • Provide mentorship to team members and improve integration processes and methodologies.
  • Own and manage the lifecycle of Salesforce cases for API integrations and establish tracking best practices.
  • Lead end-to-end API integration testing for new partners and help optimize internal testing and monitoring tools.
  • Inform senior stakeholders on integration project status and progress.
  • Monitor API transactions to ensure smooth operation and identify operational issues for escalation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, operations, or account management, preferably in a web services or B2B technical environment.
  • Proven technical competence working with APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of API technologies, including SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across different audiences.
  • Experience facilitating discussions in person and via conference calls.
  • Experience working in complex, multi-channel business environments.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with a global team across multiple time zones.
  • Preferred personal qualities include analytical thinking, attention to detail, flexibility, creativity, and a results-oriented mindset.
