Description

  • Lead and scale the engineering organization as the company grows.
  • Own delivery, quality, and reliability for the platform.
  • Set architecture direction with senior engineers and make major technical decisions.
  • Own the hiring bar, engineering processes, and team health.
  • Partner with product on roadmap planning, sequencing, and tradeoffs.
  • Drive the company’s security and compliance posture, including HIPAA requirements.
  • Manage engineering budget, tooling, and vendor decisions.
  • Build and maintain a high-accountability engineering culture.
  • Coordinate engineering execution to support a platform that practices trust as their front door.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams, including managing managers.
  • Experience scaling a B2B SaaS platform and team through rapid growth.
  • Strong architectural judgment and enough hands-on experience to earn senior ICs’ trust.
  • Track record of building inclusive, high-accountability engineering cultures.
  • Voice, AI/ML systems, or healthcare technology experience is preferred.
  • Experience with security and compliance frameworks is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely in the US; hybrid work is available for candidates in the Birmingham, AL area (3 days in office / 2 remote).
