Description

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound prospective clients and move them through the sales process.
  • Conduct sales calls to articulate Toptal’s value proposition and advance deal cycles from discovery through close.
  • Build rapport with prospective clients by researching accounts, understanding their needs, and staying current on industry trends and competitors.
  • Deliver a customer-centric experience across all client interactions during predefined working hours.
  • Collaborate with team members to respond quickly to high-volume inbound client inquiries via Zoom and Slack.
  • Work with cross-functional business units to ensure prospects progress through the funnel.
  • Learn from feedback, apply sales best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of team processes.
  • Mentor new team members over time and help them understand Toptal’s model and standard methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 1-3 years of B2B sales experience in roles such as Account Executive, Inside Sales, Outside Sales Representative, or Account Representative.
  • Software or tech-related sales experience and education are a plus.
  • Must be fully available during working hours to take client calls.
  • Strong client-centric mindset with the ability to uncover and resolve client issues through value-based selling.
  • A competitive, results-driven attitude with the motivation to meet and exceed quota.
  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment and manage a high volume of clients and deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration and time management skills.
  • Resumes and communication must be submitted in English.
