Description

  • Design Databricks-driven enterprise data warehousing, lakehouse, and business intelligence systems.
  • Lead technical strategy for end-to-end data management and data warehousing.
  • Build scalable IoT and stream ingestion pipelines using Azure services.
  • Implement information lifecycle management from data ingestion through archiving.
  • Define, build, and enforce global data governance and master data management practices.
  • Extract and transform unstructured data into connected datasets for advanced analytics.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Databricks, including optimized Spark pipelines, Delta Lake, and lakehouse implementations.
  • Experience with Azure IoT services such as Azure Hub, Device SDK, Device Provisioning Services (DPS), and Device Twins.
  • Experience with Azure compute and storage services such as Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Azure Stream Analytics.
  • Alternative experience with AWS IoT services such as AWS IoT Core, IoT Device Management, and IoT Device Defender.
  • Alternative experience with AWS compute and data services such as AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, Amazon Kinesis, and EMR.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise data warehousing and business intelligence tools.
  • Proven ability to manage both structured and unstructured data assets.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse technical teams.
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Extensive background in end-to-end data management principles and data lifecycle execution.
  • Experience architecting and building Azure IoT platforms or applications is a plus.
  • Exposure to containerization and serverless architecture is preferred.
