Description

  • Manage copy drafting across owned marketing activations, campaigns, and cross-team requests.
  • Copyedit internal and external communications for grammar, typos, brand tone, and voice consistency.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to create educational resources such as handbooks and guides.
  • Write social-first promotional copy for educational resources and campaigns.
  • Partner with the video editor to draft scripts for organic and paid social content.
  • Write SEO-, AEO-, and GEO-optimized blogs and online resources.
  • Use data to evaluate what is and is not working and iterate on copy and brand voice improvements.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Work collaboratively across teams while meeting tight timelines and maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in copywriting and copyediting in an agency or internal team environment for brand marketing.
  • Experience with LGBTQ+ topics and discourse in media.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
  • Experience with content development through self-directed research and interviews for videos, guides, blogs, op-eds, and related content.
  • Experience giving and receiving constructive feedback in a collaborative environment.
  • Project management experience; Trevor uses Asana.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Remote work must be from the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii.
