Description

  • Oversee staffing, recruitment, hiring, training, and development of property team members.
  • Execute corporate initiatives across community teams and ensure alignment with regional objectives.
  • Conduct property inspections covering curb appeal, safety, operations, capital improvements, risk management, and brand standards.
  • Support move-in, move-out, and turn processes to ensure successful resident transitions.
  • Respond to on-site emergencies and escalate issues according to policy guidelines.
  • Coach team members, provide feedback, and support employee engagement and accountability.
  • Review occupancy, delinquency, collections, and bad debt trends and develop corrective strategies.
  • Assist with budgeting, variance reviews, capital expenditure requests, and contract negotiations.
  • Analyze leasing, market, and revenue data to create and support effective leasing strategies.
  • Handle escalated resident complaints and support customer experience improvements across properties.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of property management experience.
  • Direct supervisory experience required.
  • Prior multi-site management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
  • Must be based near a major hub such as San Marcos, TX.
  • Ability and willingness to travel; travel is paid by the company.
  • Experience managing multiple properties is a strong fit.
  • Background in community management, general management, student housing, hospitality, multi-family, or real estate is preferred.
