Description

  • Take overall functional and technical ownership of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud as a central system in the application landscape.
  • Work closely with stakeholders in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations to ensure consistent end-to-end processes across SAP modules and applications.
  • Drive the strategic development, operational stability, and future architecture of the SAP Public Cloud landscape.
  • Lead national and international transformation projects, system implementations, rollouts, and migration initiatives on the SAP platform.
  • Own critical SAP solutions and ensure they work seamlessly with adjacent business applications.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external implementation and consulting partners to enable efficient collaboration.
  • Evaluate requirements in terms of architecture, standardization, and long-term maintainability and further develop the SAP roadmap.
  • Support ERP transformations, reporting and analytics initiatives, and integration projects to embed them sustainably in the organization.
  • Define and enforce governance standards for architecture, extensions, integrations, release management, test management, and change management.
  • Act as a sparring partner for management and business teams on strategic decisions around business processes, systems, and digital transformation.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in senior SAP or ERP leadership roles, ideally in a public cloud environment with cross-functional system responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of core SAP modules and their end-to-end relationships, especially Finance, Controlling, Material Management, and Sales.
  • Experience with SAP release and lifecycle management, Clean Core principles, security, and authorization concepts.
  • Experience working in heterogeneous system landscapes with SAP as a central platform alongside surrounding systems.
  • Ideally successful ownership of international rollouts, ERP transformations, or complex digitalization projects.
  • Ability to understand end-to-end business processes and translate business requirements into viable solution architectures.
  • Experience leading teams and managing external service providers and implementation partners.
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and self-driven working style with the ability to stay on top of complex transformation initiatives.
  • Confident use of Jira, Confluence, and modern collaboration and project management tools.
  • Fluent German and very good English skills, spoken and written.
  • Main residence in Germany.
  • German language skills at minimum C1 level.
