Description

  • Conduct exploratory analyses to identify actionable learnings and generate high-value hypotheses.
  • Evaluate hypotheses and initiatives to help inform prioritization.
  • Design tests and define measurement approaches for new experiences and features.
  • Partner with product, marketing, CX, and research teams on data-driven improvements to the member experience.
  • Serve as a go-to data resource for ad hoc analysis and metric definition.
  • Present analyses and communicate findings, including data and technical needs, to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Contribute ideas to improve analytical processes and strengthen analytical excellence at Ollie.
  • Help shape how data is used to innovate lifecycle communications, mobile apps, and new member services.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, growth analytics, lifecycle analytics, retention analytics, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience in subscription retention for a high-growth consumer business.
  • Strong SQL and Excel skills.
  • Experience with applied statistics, including test design and measurement, multivariate analysis, and modeling.
  • Understanding of subscription metrics such as retention, churn, and LTV.
  • Ability to source and join data from web and analytics platforms, reporting tools, production databases, and tools such as Segment, GA, MixPanel, Looker, and Snowflake.
  • Ability to break complex analytical problems into manageable, trackable components.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating technical analysis into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong grasp of retention, churn, reactivation, cohort analysis, lifecycle performance, and customer behavior in subscription or recurring-revenue businesses.
  • Must be based on the U.S. East Coast for this remote role.
