Description

  • Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, including carve-outs and divestitures, from initial risk assessment through deal close and post-transaction support.
  • Own the development and review of quality of earnings analyses, net working capital assessments, normalized EBITDA evaluations, and cash flow analyses.
  • Design and deliver analytics solutions such as data models, interactive dashboards, and visualization outputs for executive-ready client insights.
  • Use hypothesis-led, data-enabled analysis to identify performance trends, margin dynamics, revenue quality, and balance sheet considerations that affect valuation and negotiation strategy.
  • Integrate analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Excel, and Snowflake into diligence workflows.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved AI-enabled client solutions in compliance with data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
  • Oversee project administration across concurrent engagements, including work plans, staffing, timelines, budgeting, and billing.
  • Monitor M&A market trends, analytics technologies, and sector developments and communicate their implications to clients and internal teams.
  • Support business development efforts by pursuing opportunities with private equity sponsors, corporate acquirers, and lenders and contributing to proposals and pursuit materials.
  • Cultivate client relationships, act as a day-to-day advisor, and mentor junior team members through coaching and feedback.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction analytics, public accounting, or a related professional services environment.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or a related field within a public accounting or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality of earnings methodologies, net working capital analyses, EBITDA normalization, and financial statement evaluation in an M&A context.
  • Experience managing FDD engagements and workstreams for private equity and corporate clients with increasing responsibility for team leadership and client relationships.
  • Proficiency with Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Excel, or Snowflake, and the ability to apply these tools in a transaction context.
  • Ability to independently manage project teams, resolve engagement issues, and deliver high-quality client deliverables under tight timelines.
  • Track record of building client relationships and contributing to business development and proposal efforts.
  • Comfort with responsibly exploring and adopting firm-approved AI tools to improve productivity and innovation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, depending on client preferences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • CPA, CA, or CFA certification preferred.
