Description

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Scientific Solutions Partners, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and retention.
  • Set the operating cadence for the team through pipeline reviews, deal inspection, forecasting, and account planning.
  • Personally own strategic accounts and model the full customer engagement from prospecting and discovery through solutioning, proof-of-concept, RFP response, contracting, and close.
  • Serve as an escalation point and executive sponsor for critical customer relationships and competitive situations.
  • Lead technical discovery and design solution architectures aligned to customer scientific use cases and data environments.
  • Oversee proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements in partnership with scientific data architects.
  • Own RFP technical strategy for marquee opportunities and ensure accurate, compelling submissions.
  • Build and expand senior-level relationships across customer organizations, including executive stakeholders.
  • Own territory commercial strategy, pipeline health, and expansion opportunities across existing accounts.
  • Represent TetraScience at industry events and contribute market and customer insights to product, marketing, and science teams.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a life science, chemistry, or engineering discipline preferred; MS or PhD preferred, with equivalent practical experience considered.
  • 12+ years of combined scientific, technical, and commercial experience in life sciences software, laboratory informatics, scientific data infrastructure, or adjacent domains.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing, coaching, or formally leading sales or solutions professionals, or strong player-coach leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of personally owning and closing enterprise deals while improving team performance.
  • Direct experience in pharma, biotech, or CRO/CDMO environments as a scientist, scientific software professional, or customer-facing sales/solutions professional.
  • Experience leading complex technical sales cycles in enterprise SaaS or scientific software, including POC design, execution, and RFP ownership.
  • Deep familiarity with laboratory workflows and scientific data environments, including instruments, unstructured data, and data analysis challenges.
  • Fluency in scientific data concepts such as file formats, instrument connectivity, data harmonization, and raw-to-AI-ready data workflows.
  • Experience with MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, Force Management, or similar sales methodologies is very useful but not essential.
  • Strong executive presence in technical, commercial, and internal leadership settings.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% to client sites within the assigned region.
