Description

  • Serve as the technical liaison between Tenstorrent, customers, partners, sales, and global engineering teams.
  • Understand customer AI/ML workloads and recommend appropriate platform solutions.
  • Lead technical evaluations, demonstrations, proof-of-concept delivery, and production deployments.
  • Design and deploy scalable AI solutions in cloud and customer environments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including servers, accelerator cards, and PCIe devices.
  • Install, move, maintain, and repair infrastructure at customer sites.
  • Translate complex AI/ML concepts into clear guidance for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal teams, external service providers, and customer stakeholders across Southeast Asia.
  • Travel regularly for customer installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, demonstrations, and deployments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, research, product, sales, and business development teams to improve AI solutions and establish regional service capabilities.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Field Application Engineer, Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical professional focused on AI/ML hardware and software.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Deep familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Experience with scalable AI solution design and cloud application deployment.
  • Hands-on experience installing, moving, and repairing servers, accelerator cards, and PCIe devices.
  • Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, vision models, model deployment, training, or fine-tuning is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with C++, CUDA, parallel programming, or kernel development is a plus.
  • Customer-focused communication, proactive problem solving, and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Southeast Asia; Singapore citizenship or permanent residency is required, with no visa sponsorship or work-pass support available. English proficiency is required; Mandarin and Malay are advantageous. Employment is subject to U.S. export-control eligibility.
