Description

  • Own the acquisition and closing of new business within assigned geographic territories or states.
  • Prospect aggressively and build a pipeline of potential new customers.
  • Sell to C-level executives, VPs, and field-based employees by tailoring messaging to each persona.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and supporting teams to align territory strategy and pipeline goals.
  • Use a strategic, personalized outreach cadence and track prospect touchpoints.
  • Lead in-person and virtual product demonstrations with prospective customers.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts in line with company procedures.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals using thoughtful prospect-specific strategies.
  • Create outbound email communications in CRM software and analyze results.
  • Travel to meet prospects onsite, network, and support the sales process.
  • Stay current on industry trends and market shifts through associations, webinars, events, and conferences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience selling enterprise software to construction or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in Enterprise SaaS sales.
  • 7+ years of experience managing all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing.
  • 7+ years of experience researching, qualifying, and converting sales leads through targeted searches and queries.
  • Strong experience selling to and communicating with C-level executives, VPs, and field-based employees.
  • Experience in quota-carrying roles delivering consistent revenue growth that meets or exceeds quarterly business plans and forecasts.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% within California.
  • Must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Central California, including Fresno, Kern, Kings, Tulare, Merced, Monterey, San Benito, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, or Ventura counties.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or another business-related field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce and HubSpot is strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading virtual and in-person product demonstrations via WebEx, Zoom, or similar tools is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, especially for negotiations, public speaking, and presentations.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to ask for the order at the right time.
  • Ability to understand customer needs within a complex buying organization.
  • Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
