Description

Administer, configure, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to ensure reliable connectivity.
Monitor network performance and recommend optimizations to improve stability and efficiency.
Conduct system and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and reduce risk.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues affecting network infrastructure.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Document network configurations, policies, and procedures to support compliance.
Support network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs.
Stay current on emerging networking and network security trends.
Provide support to internal users and help resolve connectivity issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar IT role.
Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience with network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Must have Fortinet experience, IPv6 experience, and site-to-site tunnel experience.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques.
Experience managing network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs.
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
