Description

  • Provide Tier 3 support for complex IT infrastructure and networking issues.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, managed switches, routers, and wireless networking equipment.
  • Support and administer VMware virtual environments and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, security, and system availability.
  • Assist with server administration, backups, disaster recovery, and system upgrades.
  • Support and troubleshoot IP and cloud-based phone systems.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and systems.
  • Participate in project planning, deployments, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT support or systems/network administration experience.
  • Strong real-world experience with networking and routing.
  • Strong real-world experience with firewalls and network security.
  • Strong real-world experience with managed switches.
  • Strong real-world experience with VMware virtualization.
  • Strong real-world experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience supporting IP and cloud phone systems.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, or Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred.
  • Experience in K-12, higher education, or government environments is a plus.
