Description

  • Own the architecture of Anduril’s national radio system, including broadband Push-to-Talk over LTE/5G and fallback designs.
  • Develop fleet plans, talkgroup structures, encryption profiles, OTAP/OTAR workflows, and Key Management Facility procedures.
  • Own the radio Approved Products List and ensure hardware and software meet TAA and NDAA Section 889 requirements.
  • Design and integrate SIP-native intercom systems for entrances, dock doors, controlled access points, and accessible entries.
  • Architect and deploy emergency call systems and enterprise mass notification across radios, IP phones, speakers, mobile apps, desktop pop-ups, and digital signage.
  • Engineer IP paging, public address, and overhead speaker systems using SIP-native or SIP-bridged endpoints.
  • Design the network underlay for voice and SIP services, including QoS, multicast routing, VLAN segmentation, PoE budgeting, and switch port profiles.
  • Coordinate with IT and InfoSec on SIP security, media encryption, session border control, perimeter design, and SIEM logging.
  • Design and operate the GSOC dispatch console architecture, integrating LMR, LTE PTT, SIP intercom, and mass notification into a unified operator experience.
  • Maintain interface documentation and network diagrams for each site, including antenna locations, BDA placement, head-end distribution, and SBC connectivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SIP architecture and operations, including SIP, SDP, RTP, SRTP, TLS, codec selection, dial plan design, and Session Border Controller configuration.
  • Direct experience integrating SIP intercom platforms with video management or access control systems, ideally Genetec Sipelia with Security Center or equivalent systems such as Aiphone IX or Zenitel/Stentofon.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and construction teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
  • Must be a U.S. Person and able to gain a security clearance due to access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Motorola Solutions APX or WAVE PTX administrator certification, or L3Harris Public Safety equivalent, is preferred.
  • Genetec Security Center certifications, including Sipelia (GSC-OM, GSC-MC, or higher), are preferred.
  • Singlewire InformaCast Fusion or Alertus administrator certification is preferred.
  • Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE), Cisco CCNP Collaboration / CCIE Collaboration, or equivalent SIP/voice certification is preferred.
  • Strong project management experience with large-scale technical security system implementations and upgrades is preferred.
  • Experience in vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance oversight for security integrators and suppliers, is preferred.
  • An active Secret or Top Secret clearance is preferred.
