Description

  • Develop and maintain Looker data models, including LookML, models, and explores.
  • Build and optimize scalable, consumable data models to support business intelligence and strategic decision-making.
  • Use Looker API 4.0 to provide programmatic access to dashboards, looks, and explores.
  • Automate report generation and delivery using Looker API endpoints.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Work with Snowflake, dbt, and Python to support data transformation and pipeline development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable BI solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting layers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Looker development experience, including LookML, models, and explores.
  • Experience working with Looker API 4.0 for programmatic access.
  • Experience automating reporting using Looker API endpoints.
  • Ability to transform complex data into scalable, consumable data models.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Python.
  • SQL experience with query optimization.
  • Looker administration experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with BigQuery is preferred.
  • Experience with modern data pipelines and ELT workflows is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, or BI best practices is preferred.
  • Experience working in a client-facing or consulting environment is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. and unable to require visa sponsorship.
