Description

  • Work across analytics engineering, applied analytics, and data science without specializing into a single discipline.
  • Build, maintain, and scale analytics pipelines and data models in dbt.
  • Implement validated MVPs iteratively with testing, data observability, and maintainable architecture.
  • Explore data, build dashboards in Omni, and develop ML models that support business decisions.
  • Improve metric accuracy, investigate data discrepancies, and support well-tested reporting pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and translate needs into data products.
  • Contribute to SQL and dbt codebase quality, engineering practices, and technical architecture.
  • Own parts of the codebase over time and become a go-to partner for at least one business team.
  • Document work clearly so others can reuse and build on it.
  • Share knowledge and help shape the team’s direction, cohesion, and mission.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics.
  • 4+ years of experience across data science, analytics, or analytics engineering, ideally with exposure to more than one area.
  • Excellent SQL skills and experience building data models using dbt or similar tools.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals including testing, clean code, peer review, CI/CD, and git workflows.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses and modern data stack tools.
  • Passion for the future of AI and willingness to research and experiment with new tools.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership, manages stakeholders, and communicates proactively.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Comfortable working remotely in a remote-first environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Digital Marketing or User Acquisition, including attribution, iOS privacy, SKAN, and UA metrics, is a plus.
  • Experience with Product or Growth work such as A/B testing, retention, and monetization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Amplitude, dbt, BigQuery, and Omni is a plus.
  • Good analytical and statistical intuition is a plus.
  • Prior experience in an agile startup environment is a plus.
