Description

  • Own core computer vision models from prototype to production, including 3D human pose and statistical body modeling.
  • Ship models to run in real time in the cloud and on-device on tablets, including conversion and optimization.
  • Own the data and code lifecycle, including training frameworks, annotation workflows, pipelines, auto-labeling, test sets, and taxonomy.
  • Extend movement understanding into multimodal systems that combine vision with language and reasoning.
  • Unify training, tracking, versioning, and deployment workflows so results are reproducible and testable.
  • Design automated systems and feedback loops that scale team output beyond manual effort.
  • Help grow the Computer Vision team by defining and promoting scalable best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years solving complex computer vision problems with models shipped to production.
  • Strong software engineering foundation across architecture, pipelines, MLOps, and the full model lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with modern computer vision, including transformers and convolutional models, with depth in at least one of detection, segmentation, tracking, pose, or 3D.
  • Experience building data-centric ML systems, including data flywheels, active-learning loops, and dataset management.
  • Solid grounding in multimodal AI and systems that combine vision with language and reasoning.
  • Strong written and asynchronous communication skills with a clear documentation mindset.
  • Self-direction and full ownership, with the ability to scope ambiguity and ship independently.
  • Fluency with PyTorch or JAX, the Python data stack, and comfort learning new languages and codebases.
  • AI-native ways of working, including agents and LLM-in-the-loop tooling.
  • Experience with pose estimation, body modeling, movement intelligence, or human-motion work (preferred).
  • Experience with massive data and full-lifecycle ML systems at a startup or scaleup (preferred).
  • Experience automating experimentation or model-improvement loops (preferred).
  • Product mindset, user empathy, and desire to ship impact to millions of members (preferred).
  • Must be based in Portugal and possess a valid EU visa; no relocation assistance is provided.
