Description

  • Own the end-to-end architecture of distributed, cloud-native systems from infrastructure-as-code to production operations.
  • Write Architecture Decision Records and define standards that outlast individual projects.
  • Translate ambiguous business requirements into scoped, shippable technical plans.
  • Drive alignment across product and engineering stakeholders.
  • Raise the technical bar through code reviews and design critiques.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers on the team.
  • Make independent architectural decisions for evolving solutions over time.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English at C1 level or higher.
  • Strong non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Extensive programming experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
  • Experience developing cloud-native applications and platforms using Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, AWS Bedrock, SQS, SNS, and ECS.
  • Ability to make architectural decisions around cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Experience with or passion for generative AI.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
  • Experience leading the design, build, and deployment of complex, performant software solutions in production.
  • Experience across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience developing IaC using Terraform or AWS CDK (preferred).
  • Experience developing with AI tooling such as Claude Code or Cursor (preferred).
  • Experience building or integrating AI agents using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar (preferred).
