Description

  • Develop upsell and retention strategies for midsize to large transit-agency customers.
  • Own the upsell pipeline from qualified lead through close.
  • Create pipeline-development strategies across an assigned customer portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain account plans and customer Success Plans.
  • Partner with Marketing on customer-focused collateral and campaigns.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and pipeline targets.
  • Prepare business proposals and deliver executive presentations demonstrating ROI.
  • Lead demonstrations and training for the Swiftly platform.
  • Identify customer budgets, decision-makers, and procurement pathways.
  • Manage procurement activities for renewals and upsells, including RFPs, sole-source justifications, and cooperative purchasing agreements.
  • Attend conferences, onsite agency visits, and customer events to build relationships and advance deals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to share feedback on customers, competitors, and market trends.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience in the public sector.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding quota and pipeline expectations.
  • Ability to listen to diverse stakeholders and synthesize relevant information.
  • Persistence and creativity in communicating customer value.
  • Ability to work strategically and independently with minimal direction.
  • Exceptional organization and multitasking skills across a high volume of opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with public transportation, or strong interest in mobility, transportation technology, and cities.
  • Ability to work in the United States or Ontario or British Columbia, Canada; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Willingness to travel for customer engagements and approximately 1–2 annual company or team offsites.

  • US OTE salary range of $117,000–$180,000; Canadian OTE salary range of $169,000–$190,000.
