Description

  • Architect end-to-end software solutions using modern frameworks and design patterns with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Lead system design discussions for high-traffic applications and business-critical services.
  • Evaluate and implement architectural improvements to strengthen scalability, observability, and resilience.
  • Define and uphold best practices for code quality, security, accessibility, and data privacy compliance.
  • Lead complex cross-functional projects from concept through delivery, aligning engineering work with business needs.
  • Partner with product, business, and senior leadership to define technical vision and drive company-wide initiatives.
  • Build and maintain distributed systems using Spring Boot microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Design and optimize databases using MySQL and Oracle, including indexing and performance tuning.
  • Own CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Mentor engineers, conduct code and design reviews, and foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level software development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Advanced proficiency with MySQL, Oracle, and Redis.
  • Experience with React and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins CI/CD.
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX, Nginx, Apache, and the ELK Stack.
  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
  • Proven ability to architect and deliver complex backend systems and mentor technical teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and align multiple teams.
  • Experience using AI platforms such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT to increase productivity is preferred.
  • Ability to work full-time remotely from India on Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time / 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. IST.
  • Willingness to work in a distraction-free remote environment and complete background checks in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
