Description

  • Lead a team of 5-8 fullstack developers.
  • Write and review code, with a management-heavy split of roughly 70/30.
  • Ensure the team follows company processes and engineering guidelines.
  • Own feature delivery and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Make technical decisions and prepare technical designs for new features.
  • Align technical plans with neighboring teams and the manager.
  • Manage technical debt and maintain the team’s technical backlog.
  • Mentor and develop engineers through regular 1:1 meetings.
  • Onboard new team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Team Lead or Engineering Manager managing 5-10 developers.
  • Hands-on leadership experience with the ability to write code and design systems.
  • Strong people management skills, including hiring, coaching, feedback, and conflict resolution.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product companies using TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, and Redis.
  • Experience working in fast-growing companies or startups is a plus.
  • English proficiency at B2+ level.
  • Remote work from CET hours is preferred.
  • Russian-speaking team environment.
