Description

  • Own end-to-end Deal Desk support for enterprise deals, ensuring pricing and scoping are commercially accurate and aligned to delivery capacity.
  • Review and validate scopes, pricing structures, and deal configurations across the opportunity pipeline.
  • Partner with Account Executives and the Solutions team to turn discovery findings and customer needs into viable proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to improve scoping and solution quality on complex deals.
  • Lead and develop a team of 3 Deal Desk Associates, setting priorities, quality standards, and turnaround expectations.
  • Serve as the escalation point for ambiguous, complex, or high-stakes deals requiring senior judgment.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Deal Desk workflows, tooling, and documentation to scale with deal volume.
  • Define and track team performance metrics such as deal velocity, pricing accuracy, and SLA adherence.
  • Own Deal Desk reporting on pricing patterns, deal velocity, win/loss trends, and scope accuracy.
  • Maintain and enforce pricing governance frameworks, including approved parameters and exception handling.
  • Build playbooks, pricing guides, and reference documentation for the team and sales partners.
  • Champion AI-enabled process improvements for scope generation, pricing lookups, and proposal automation.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Deal Desk, sales operations/strategy, or pricing/scoping within a creative, marketing, or professional services environment.
  • Proven experience managing or leading a team.
  • Ability to develop talent and maintain high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure deals that are competitive and margin-sound.
  • Analytical, data-driven mindset with the ability to identify patterns and make evidence-based recommendations.
  • Curiosity and fluency with AI tools, especially for commercial operations, proposal generation, and workflow automation.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deals and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills that are clear, concise, and credible with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience in commercial operations, sales enablement, or proposal automation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI developments relevant to commercial operations and sales workflows is preferred.
