Description

  • Maintain and expand buying guides, comparison pages, and product content with verified, source-backed claims.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on content that supports both organic reach and conversion goals.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact with the performance agency and push back when strategy or reporting does not add up.
  • Review creative briefs, ad copy, email templates, landing pages, and other assets, providing detailed feedback and confirming changes are implemented before launch.
  • Attend weekly design review meetings with the web design agency and provide marketing feedback on UX, content, and brand consistency.
  • Coordinate cross-channel messaging so paid media, email, organic content, product launches, and promotions tell the same story.
  • Read and synthesize weekly performance reports, cross-checking data across GA4, Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads, and Google Ads when results look off.
  • Oversee agency execution in Klaviyo by reviewing flow performance, segmentation logic, and campaign results.
  • Own the campaign calendar and ensure timing across promotions, email cadence, paid media, and site experience stays aligned.
  • Set up and QA promotional mechanics in Shopify, including discounts, gift-with-purchase offers, and landing pages.
  • Act as first-pass triage for platform issues across Shopify, Google Merchant Center, Impact, Klaviyo, and related tools.
  • Own vendor support communications and follow issues through to resolution with the appropriate internal or external partner.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in DTC ecommerce marketing with hands-on execution across content and campaign management.
  • Proficiency with Klaviyo, including flows, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Experience with Shopify Admin, including discounts, product management, and basic operations.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create factually precise, persuasive content for an $8K+ price point.
  • Analytical rigor and comfort navigating GA4 beyond surface-level dashboards.
  • Ability to question data quality, spot broken tracking or incorrect metrics, and identify when something does not pass the smell test.
  • Technical literacy to recognize issues such as broken tags, failing discounts, or platform errors and explain them clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information before acting.
  • Experience marketing high-AOV products ($1,000+) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GEO / generative engine optimization or a clear point of view on AI-driven product discovery is preferred.
  • Experience working alongside a performance agency is preferred.
  • CRO experience or strong intuition for conversion optimization is preferred.
  • Comfort diagnosing browser-level technical issues such as console errors, network failures, or tags not firing is preferred.
  • Any level of technical building ability with HTML, CSS, Liquid, JavaScript, or Python is preferred.
  • Comfort using AI tools in daily workflow and applying them to real operational or analytical problems is expected.
