Description

  • Develop and implement an operational improvement playbook across TPA operations.
  • Identify operational pain points and prioritize technology, process, and system improvements.
  • Evaluate tools, technologies, and industry practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead technology rollouts and adoption in partnership with Product.
  • Manage migrations to FT William and ASC, maintaining data integrity and minimizing disruption.
  • Own census-scrubbing initiatives to improve plan-data quality and accuracy.
  • Implement straight-through processing to reduce manual work and increase throughput.
  • Manage adoption initiatives across partner firms, including planning, training, job aids, office hours, and support.
  • Translate operational findings into workflow and project templates with Transformation and CRM teams.
  • Track project progress, adoption, and measurable operational outcomes while representing operations in Product sprint reviews.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of defined contribution plan administration experience, including 5+ years in a senior or management TPA role.
  • Experience managing a large and diverse retirement-plan book; 500+ plans strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in compliance testing, Form 5500 preparation, employer contribution calculations, payroll reconciliation, and audit support.
  • Experience leading system migrations, technology implementations, training, and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing project roadmaps from prioritization through cross-functional execution.
  • Familiarity with multiple recordkeeping platforms, payroll vendors, and financial services firms.
  • Experience with PensionPro, ASC, and FT William preferred; comparable TPA platforms considered.
  • Strong project management, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • ASPPA QKA, QKC, QPA, CPC, or equivalent designation preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred; ERISA, IRS, DOL, and SECURE Act knowledge and TPA P&L or M&A experience are also preferred.
