Description

  • Lead cloud infrastructure, SRE, production operations, corporate IT, helpdesk, and bot mitigation teams.
  • Own AWS infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, performance, architecture, and cost effectiveness.
  • Establish SLOs, observability, incident response, on-call practices, disaster recovery, and business continuity programs.
  • Direct bot mitigation, scraping protection, abuse prevention, WAF, rate limiting, and traffic-quality management.
  • Oversee employee technology, helpdesk services, endpoint management, onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning.
  • Implement identity and access controls, including least privilege, MFA, access reviews, and privileged-account security.
  • Manage technology vendors, contracts, budgets, licensing, cloud-cost visibility, and cost optimization.
  • Partner with business and technical leaders on roadmaps, architecture, risk, tradeoffs, and operational standards.
  • Develop managers and technical leads while fostering accountability, documentation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, SRE, platform engineering, DevOps, IT operations, or related fields.
  • 5+ years leading engineering or technology teams, including managers or technical leads.
  • Experience operating high-traffic, customer-facing platforms in AWS or a comparable cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, identity, security, observability, databases, APIs, storage, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with production availability, incident response, root-cause analysis, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience managing corporate IT, employee support, endpoint management, licensing, and access provisioning.
  • Experience establishing operational metrics, SLOs, and support standards, plus managing vendors, budgets, contracts, and cloud costs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication of technical risks and tradeoffs.
  • Preferred: experience with Cloudflare, DataDome, bot mitigation, containerized environments, centralized logging, APM, legacy modernization, privacy requirements, or consumer data platforms.
