Description

  • Serve as Stripe’s senior leader and executive sponsor for key customer and partner relationships across Canada.
  • Own and drive sales growth across Canada through strong leadership, planning, and execution of sales programs.
  • Oversee expansion and satisfaction of existing Canadian customers while pursuing new logo growth.
  • Develop and refine the Canada-specific go-to-market strategy in partnership with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams.
  • Make hiring decisions and shape the candidate profile and onboarding strategy for the Canadian sales organization.
  • Create structure for GTM ideas and product sales campaigns, including execution, measurement, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Define sales support mechanisms, processes, and programs to support rapid growth and revenue attainment in Canada.
  • Lead a senior team of Account Executives and indirectly manage supporting roles around their accounts.
  • Set the long-term vision for the Canadian market while scaling day-to-day operations.
  • Engage personally on large strategic opportunities and lead executive relationships with key customers.
  • Represent Canadian customer needs cross-functionally and help shape Stripe’s product roadmap.
  • Act as Stripe’s market presence in Canada by building relationships with the local business community, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of people management experience, ideally leading sales teams in Canada or broader North American markets.
  • Experience leading sales organizations in a high-growth technology environment.
  • Experience building and scaling high-caliber teams, including launching or growing market presence in new regions.
  • Ability to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills with strong pipeline and forecast management abilities.
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian business landscape, including key industries, the regulatory environment, and enterprise customer dynamics.
  • Prior experience at a growth-stage internet or software company is preferred.
  • Prior experience in enterprise sales, partnerships, and/or business development in Canada is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the payments industry, card issuing, or financial services is preferred.
  • Established executive-level network within the Canadian business community is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset, particularly for engaging customers in Quebec.
