Description

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to acquire, engage, and retain subscribers and modding communities across the platform.
  • Define, track, and optimise commercial performance metrics such as MRR, retention, churn, LTV, and CAC.
  • Partner with product, content, marketing, and community teams to improve the full user journey from onboarding through long-term retention.
  • Lead community-led ecosystem expansion to position Nexus Mods as the modding platform for all games, communities, and users.
  • Own and execute a full-funnel advertising strategy that balances short-term acquisition with long-term brand and community growth.
  • Identify emerging trends with the content and community teams and turn them into acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships from origination through execution and performance.
  • Conceptualise, validate, and launch new revenue streams such as premium features or creator monetisation tools.
  • Champion a test-and-learn approach to growth and monetisation through rapid experimentation.
  • Work with the data team to build dashboards, run experiments, and support data-driven decision making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in growth, marketing, or business development roles, ideally within gaming, tech, or digital media.
  • A strong track record of driving user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth in a consumer-facing business.
  • Highly analytical approach with experience using data to inform decisions and measure impact.
  • Experience in performance marketing, product-led growth, and/or monetisation strategy.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to build, lead, and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Deep interest in gaming, modding, and community-driven ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working closely with executive leadership.
  • Experience with gaming platforms, mod marketplaces, or UGC ecosystems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with subscription, in-app purchase, or marketplace business models is preferred.
  • Experience in creator-led or influencer marketing is preferred.
  • Experience with modding PC games is preferred.
  • Must be based in the UK or Europe, and the employer is unable to sponsor international visas at this time.
